Der “Verein der SendungsmacherInnen” ist die Demokratie von FS1. Mitglieder sind alle Sendungsmacher*innen als Einzelpersonen oder Organisationen. Aufgabe ist Einfluss und Kontrolle der Sendungsmacher*innen auf Organisation & Programm von FS1 zu gewährleisten.
Der Verein ist als strategischer Gesellschafter mit 25,14% an der BetriebsgesmbH von FS1 beteiligt, als solcher aber im Tagesgeschäft NICHT operativ tätig.

Die Mitgliedschaft im Verein ist Bedingung für einen Sendeplatz. Sie beginnt mit Einzahlung des Beitrages und verlängert sich nach Ablauf des Kalenderjahrs automatisch.
