„Post-archeo­lo­gi­cal stra­te­gies in the prac­ti­ce of T(n)C“
The artist duo T(n)C is on a mis­si­on to dis­sol­ve the boun­da­ries bet­ween the digi­tal and phy­si­cal worlds. In their talk Tina Kult will descri­be their prac­ti­ce of recy­cling, ima­gi­na­ti­ve con­s­truc­tion, and sto­rytel­ling as they tre­at roadsi­de rem­nants and dis­card­ed frag­ments like pre­cious traces of poten­ti­al.
From the­se mate­ri­als, they assem­ble abs­tract models and trans­la­te them into digi­tal objects, forming intri­ca­te land­scapes of crumbling cities and sun­b­ur­ned para­di­ses. Through a sci-fi lens they exami­ne how cri­ses shape spaces and bodies.

SPEA­K­ER:
T(n)C was foun­ded in 2017 by Agnes Var­nai and Tina Kult. They live and work in Vien­na and expe­ri­ment with a wide ran­ge of media, inclu­ding vir­tu­al rea­li­ty, 3D, instal­la­ti­on, sculp­tu­re and film. By com­bi­ning the dif­fe­rent disci­pli­nes, they are rese­ar­ching immersi­ve expe­ri­en­ces to con­nect the digi­tal and phy­si­cal levels of rea­li­ties. T(n)C´s aim is to expand the prac­ti­ces of coll­ec­ti­ve storytelling.
