Der SPH Bandcontest ist mit mehr als 1.000 teilnehmenden Bands und 500 Konzerten pro Jahr einer der größten Nachwuchswettbewerbe Europas. Auch in Salzburg, genau genommen im Mark, findet ein Teil des Wettbewerbs statt.
In der ersten Vorrunde gingen Mitte November fünf Bands aus den verschiedensten Genres ins Rennen. Da war von Ska Punk über Black Metal bis Pop alles vertreten. Unter anderem auch die Band „The Sellout“, die das Publikum mit ihrem Alternative Rock durchaus überzeugen konnten. Wie sich das anhört, könnt ihr im aktuellen Programm oder online hier herausfinden.

Last 19. Novemeber 2016 Mark.freizeit.kultur hosted the preliminary round of the SPH Bandcontest in Salzburg.
With five bands the evening was totally full of music in very different styles. This first part brings us the interview with Annami Frauenlob, the host of the SPH Bandcontest in Salzburg, who explained the most important information about it.
